Client is a private tactical communications and engineering office located in historic Starrett-Lehigh building in Chelsea, Manhattan, both relocating and expanding into 55,000sqft of space.
Custom designed with bespoke finishes, materials and millwork catering to the client brand and culture, space includes a state of the art training facility; various lab spaces for R&D engineering; executive conference rooms and areas for casual gathering and meetings. In addition, sustainable and/or Green initiatives were incorporated into the design for a better sustainable footprint; some of the measures include selection of recycled content/recyclable materials, reclaimed wood and concrete, equipment selection that reduces trash as well as LED power technology.
